My Journey Inward

My Journey Inward

Years ago, I found myself caught in a cycle that felt impossible to break—constantly moving, constantly giving, constantly being pulled in every direction except the one that led back to myself. My life revolved around responsibilities, external expectations, and a job that drained me in every way imaginable. I was overworked, undervalued, and exhausted. But the exhaustion was only the surface.

The stress I carried seeped into my body, manifesting in ways I could no longer ignore. Hospital visits became frequent. My health declined. And the weight of everything pressed down until I could barely breathe. Somewhere along the way, I had lost myself in the blur of survival.

Financial strain only deepened the cracks. Medical bills piled up. My car barely held together. Eventually, I hit what felt like rock bottom—bankruptcy. There were days when I questioned everything. Days when I asked myself, Is this really it? Is this all my life will ever be?

Discovering Tarot

In the midst of that uncertainty, I stumbled across tarot. At first, it was just curiosity—something to distract me from the weight I was carrying. But as I continued to explore, I realized tarot wasn’t just about divination. It was a mirror. The cards reflected truths I had buried beneath layers of fear, expectation, and fatigue. They didn’t tell me what to do—they helped me see what was already within.

Tarot invited me to pause, to reflect, and to ask myself the questions I had been too overwhelmed to face: *What do I actually want? What do I need?* And for the first time in a long time, I started listening.

Journaling & Mindfulness

Tarot opened the door to self-reflection, but journaling deepened the process. Writing gave shape to the tangled thoughts and emotions I had kept buried. It became a space to make sense of the noise in my mind—and slowly, I began to hear the quiet voice of my intuition again.

Mindfulness followed. The simple act of being present—of breathing through the overwhelm instead of trying to outrun it—shifted everything. It taught me that healing didn’t have to be dramatic or sudden. I didn’t have to fix everything at once. I didn’t need to carry the weight of the past into every moment of my future. I could simply be here.

Together, tarot, journaling, and mindfulness became the foundation I rebuilt my life on. They helped me move from survival to intentionality. They reminded me that self-reflection isn’t about staying stuck in the past—it’s about understanding where you are so you can choose where to go next.

A Year of Transformation

When I started choosing myself, everything began to change.

Within a year, the impossible became possible. I found a job that not only valued me—but doubled my salary. I transitioned into remote work, creating more space for rest, peace, and healing. Even a new car came into my life—removing yet another layer of stress and uncertainty.

But the biggest shift wasn’t external. It was internal. I finally felt a sense of control—not because everything was perfect, but because I had clarity. I knew who I was. I knew what I needed. And I knew I had the tools to navigate whatever came next.

The Birth of Reflective Tarot

Reflective Tarot grew out of this journey. It wasn’t just a business idea—it was an offering. A space for those who, like me, have felt lost in the noise and are trying to find their way back to themselves.

I believe self-reflection is one of the most powerful forms of self-care. Tarot isn’t just about seeking answers—it’s about cultivating awareness. Journaling isn’t just about writing things down—it’s about noticing patterns and reconnecting with your voice. Mindfulness isn’t just about stillness—it’s about choosing presence in a world that constantly pulls us away from it.

Through Reflective Tarot, my intention is to share these tools in a way that feels grounding, accessible, and empowering. To offer a space where reflection becomes a regular ritual—one that supports you through uncertainty, transition, and growth.

Join the Journey

If you’re feeling disconnected or unsure of your next step, know this: you’re not alone. Your path is still unfolding—and it’s never too late to begin again.

I invite you to journey inward with me. To pause. Reflect. Reconnect.

Because clarity isn’t something we wait for. It’s something we create—one moment of reflection at a time.
